Carbon Tax

Taxes on carbon applied at the national level in Canada and the US. Carbon taxes can retool North American economies for the production and utilization of renewables.  They make prices tell the ecological truth and drive the waste of oil and coal energy sources.  They are the most effective lever for us to pull to make polluters pay and we must build the political will to bring them into play.
